A new play with music, The Last Boy in The Second Republic of SHKID is a work of historical fiction inspired by the incredible real life events of Sidney Taussig and the boys of Dorm Number One in Terezin concentration camp who created the longest-running underground publication of the Holocaust. Poems, prose, and songs from the magazine are threaded throughout this gripping story of human triumph told through the eyes of teenage boys.
